Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elrey Dorado (ranked 186 p4p, 483 weight class) and Seamus O Brien (ranked 24 p4p, 68 weight class). Dorado comes to the cage accompanied by MY STORY. O Brien comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorado slips a straight right by O Brien.
Nice uppercut lands for Dorado. That snapped O Brien's head back.
Dorado slips under a jab.
Dorado attempts a counter takedown but O Brien avoids it well and moves away.
Dorado moves out of range of the strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dorado seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but O Brien does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dorado is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Dorado is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so O Brien is just riding it out for now. Dorado eventually gives up the hold.

O Brien manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Dorado keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
O Brien is trying to break the clinch but Dorado is controlling him.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts O Brien, as that shot connected.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dorado tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dorado has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

O Brien tries to buck Dorado off but Dorado is having none of it.
Dorado passes to full mount! That's big trouble for O Brien!

Dorado has control of O Brien's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and O Brien regains control of the situation pretty easily.

O Brien felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Dorado is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, O Brien has managed to escape the submission attempt.
O Brien is wriggling around trying to escape.
