Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seamus O Brien (ranked 657 p4p, 455 weight class) and Benny The Bouncer (ranked 96 p4p, 62 weight class). O Brien comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Benny The Bouncer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Bouncer throws a body punch but O Brien moves out of range.
O Brien lands a nice hook to The Bouncer's body. The Bouncer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
O Brien keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from The Bouncer.
O Brien lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Benny The Bouncer has been cut.
The Bouncer missing with a left hand there. O Brien was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

The Bouncer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

O Brien uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The Bouncer.
Benny The Bouncer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from The Bouncer misses its intended target.
O Brien throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck The Bouncer on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The Bouncer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

As The Bouncer backs away, O Brien returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

O Brien cracks The Bouncer with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! The Bouncer falls to his knees and O Brien doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seamus O Brien!
After the fight, Seamus O Brien was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Benny The Bouncer spoke after the fight, saying 'Shit man!'.
