Benny 'The Bouncer' Benevidez got his nickname moonlighting as a bouncer for local nightclubs in downtown San Antonio. A troubled youth with gang ties, he was arrested 23 times before turning 18. Once considered one of the bad boys of MMA, he's a veteran of the sport who earned his stripes fighting giants in the openweight divisions of WVT. In his lone world title fight, he came up short against Brazilian powerhouse Wanderson Machado. Holds notable wins over Elrey Dorado and Paavo Talvala.
