The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Railio lands a big uppercut and Beardsley crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Beardsley looks OK. Railio waves Beardsley back to his feet!

Beardsley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Railio uses from the top position.

Beardsley has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Railio is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Beardsley.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A little feinted left hand from Beardsley on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Railio throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
An attempted straight right counter from Beardsley misses the target.
Railio drops Beardsley with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Beardsley! Railio dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

A relieved looking Antti Railio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
