Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Danny Cruz (ranked 7 p4p, 119 weight class) and Zafir Farman (ranked 1 p4p, 5 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cruz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to FEEL SOMETHING. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farman misses the shot to the body.

Zafir Farman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farman missing with a left hand there. Cruz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It looked like Cruz wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Farman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Farman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Cruz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cruz throws a solid leg kick but Farman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cruz.

Cruz feints and then cracks Farman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Farman down.

Farman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cruz. That did some damage!

Farman throws the left hand but Cruz avoids the punch easily.
Cruz is looking to counter punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cruz moves in looking to clinch but Farman pushes him off.
Farman swings widly with a right hand
and Cruz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cruz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Farman.
Cruz appears to be looking for a big counter.
Farman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Farman closes the distance and pushes Cruz back into the cage.
