Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorgen Kruth (ranked 348 p4p, 421 weight class) and Wayne Williams (ranked 23 p4p, 30 weight class). Kruth comes to the cage accompanied by Black Hole Sun- Soundgarden. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kruth misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kruth closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Williams quickly recovers to half guard.
Kruth wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy.
We've been hearing good reports from Kruth's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Kruth works his way into full mount!

Kruth is working for a guillotine from mount but Williams frees his head quite easily.
Kruth is trying to take his opponent's back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kruth is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Williams can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Williams tries to hold on but Kruth postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Williams looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Williams is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kruth is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Kruth is not going to allow Williams to sit and survive in this position.

What can Williams do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Williams wants to control his opponent's hands but Kruth gets his hands free.
Kruth controls the position.

I really don't envy Williams right now.
Kruth controlling the position well here. Williams rolled but Kruth kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Williams is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kruth has got one arm under Williams's chin. This could be trouble... Williams trying to control the other hand but Kruth gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Williams has tapped out! The fight is over!

Jorgen Kruth spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
