Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zafir Farman (ranked 148 p4p, 239 weight class) and Luciano Ocampo (ranked 11 p4p, 22 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zafir Farman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luciano Ocampo!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ocampo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A slow jab from Ocampo misses its intended target.
Ocampo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ocampo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ocampo scores with a jab. Farman acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Ocampo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Farman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Farman throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ocampo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Farman on the side of the head.

We've been told by Farman's head coaches at Outlaw MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ocampo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Farman has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ocampo.
Oh Farman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ocampo circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Farman drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ocampo follows Farman to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luciano Ocampo!
Luciano Ocampo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
