Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tagnarach Kamara (ranked 122 p4p, 195 weight class) and Porthos Knox (ranked 18 p4p, 29 weight class). Kamara comes into the arena with BLIND SPOTS blaring out of the sound system. Knox has chosen One Step Closer | Linkin Park as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tagnarach Kamara!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 24 - 4, fighting out of Amsterdam, Porthos Knox!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Knox.
Knox looks to throw the jab but Kamara is out of range.
Knox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kamara moves away.
Kamara was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Knox looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kamara lands a big head kick that sends Knox tumbling to the mat! Kamara takes a step backwards and waves Knox back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Porthos Knox has been cut.
Knox with a body punch. A glancing blow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Knox misses with a hook.
Kamara takes one on the button.
Knox misses with a right hand
and Kamara counters with a straight right hand.
Knox throws a sloppy head kick and Kamara moves out of range easily.
Knox jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kamara tries to keep at a distance but Knox has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kamara pushes Knox back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Knox wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Knox fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
I was talking to Kamara's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Knox wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Knox blocks an uppercut.
Kamara using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Knox is trying to break free.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Knox.

Knox wants to break the clinch but can't.
Knox scores with a shot to the side of Kamara's head.
Kamara scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kamara blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Knox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kamara sends Knox crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kamara is motioning to the referee to let Knox up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Knox is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knox swings for the body but Kamara moves out of range.
Knox is still on wobbly legs! Can Kamara finish him?
Knox takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Knox looks winded!
Knox walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Kamara swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
