Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Crispian (ranked 39 p4p, 110 weight class) and Ulysses Battleby (ranked 6 p4p, 13 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Crispian doesn't manage to clinch there - Battleby circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Battleby lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Crispian has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Crispian and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And Crispian counters with a quick kick to the body but Battleby blocks it.

and Battleby cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Crispian comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Crispian buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crispian throws a series of punches but Battleby avoids them all with ease.
And Battleby responds with a good body kick, but Crispian manages to step out the way in time.

Crispian lands a nice looking kick to the body. Battleby takes a step back to recover.

We've been told by Crispian's head coaches at League of Shadows MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round but I would say that Ben Crispian will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Crispian counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Battleby out cold! What a finish! Crispian is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
