Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lemuel Denver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcel Romanow! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romanow lands a head shot. Denver slips under a jab. Denver throwing a counter right hand but Romanow manages to avoid it. Denver on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Romanow throws a big shot that misses. We've been informed that Romanow has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Romanow connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The fight moves into the clinch position. A head punch on the inside from Romanow fails to land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romanow tries to throw a body punch but Denver avoids it by throwing Romanow back against the cage. Denver misses with a short punch on the inside. Denver misses with a body punch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Denver. I was talking to Denver's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A short body shot lands from Denver as the two fighters clinch.

Romanow looks winded! Romanow tries to throw a body punch but Denver avoids it by throwing Romanow back against the cage. Denver blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Denver lands a hook to the side of the head. Romanow tries to work over Denver's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Romanow wants a takedown but no success here.
Romanow swings wildly with an uppercut but Denver uses good head movement to avoid it. A head punch on the inside from Romanow fails to land. Denver lands a body punch in the clinch. A shot in the inside from Denver. Denver struggles to land a body shot inside as Romanow controls his hands.

Romanow drops down looking for an ankle pick but Denver pulls his leg out and moves away.

It looks like Marcel Romanow has been cut. Romanow rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Denver counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romanow misses with a lunging right hand
and Denver counters with a right hand from hell and Romanow is out cold! A vicious knockout!
