Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samson Buddha (ranked 24 p4p, 94 weight class) and Benjamin Noeigati (ranked 4 p4p, 15 weight class). Noeigati has chosen Cremation of Sam McGee as his entrance music. Samson Buddha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Buddha lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Noeigati has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Noeigati and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Noeigati throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Buddha's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Noeigati dives in looking to finish as Buddha flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Noeigati's strikes! Noeigati is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Buddha's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Buddha was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
