Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jones Anderson (ranked 297 p4p, 302 weight class) and Jack Cango (ranked 38 p4p, 39 weight class). Cango is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Into Action by Tim Armstrong. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jones Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Cango! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cango throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily. Cango misses the shot to the body.
Cango clinches with his opponent.
Cango pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cango misses with a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Anderson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cango has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cango and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cango forces Anderson back against the cage and clinches. Anderson landing knees to the body.
Cango is trying to force a seperation but Anderson has the dominant position. Cango managing to block the knees to the body from Anderson.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Cango misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Anderson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cango on the side of the head.
Cango darts in and clinches Anderson up against the cage. Anderson is trying to stall.
Cango tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Knees to the body from Cango.
Cango is trying to push Anderson away but Anderson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Anderson pushes Cango back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Cango breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cango tries to keep at a distance but Anderson has taken the fight into the clinch. Nice elbow from Anderson. Cango tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Anderson avoids it. Anderson lands with a right to the head. Cango throws a punch but it's blocked by Anderson. Cango is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson misses with a knee strike.
A nice right hand lands inside from Cango. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cango lands a knee to the head.
 It looks like Jones Anderson has been cut. Cango lands with a short head shot on the inside. Cango lands with a short head shot on the inside. Anderson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Anderson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Cango wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage. I was talking to Anderson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Cango utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. A short right from Cango on the inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Anderson. Cango avoids a wild elbow strike from Anderson.

Anderson lands a good knee to the midsection. Cango won't want to take too many of those. Anderson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cango avoids it. Cango looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Anderson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A head punch blocked on the inside by Anderson. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anderson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Anderson lands on the inside with an uppercut. Anderson throws a punch but it's blocked by Cango. Cango makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Cango lands a nice uppercut. A body shot lands from Anderson.
With the fighters up against the cage, Anderson throws an elbow but misses. Cango blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Cango stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Cango is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Anderson is defending well for now. Cango throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Anderson blocks it with crossed arms. Cango landing knees to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A head punch blocked on the inside by Anderson. Anderson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Cango blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A head punch on the inside from Cango fails to land. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Cango dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jones Anderson's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Anderson cracks Cango with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Anderson scores with a decent looking hook. Anderson throws a front kick aimed at Cango's knee but Cango avoids it well.

Cango lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Anderson backwards. Anderson trying to land knees to the body.

Jack Cango seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A good leg kick by Anderson.
Oooooh!!! Cango has knocked Anderson down with a huge combo! Cango steps away and waves a wobbly Anderson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
 Anderson is rocked! Anderson has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. This has been an exciting period of action! Cango throws a right hand that Anderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Anderson also avoids with ease. Anderson is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Anderson throws a jab when Cango was well out of range. Anderson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Cango connects with a body shot that sends Anderson's belly button to the back. BAM! Cango delivers a spinning backfist that drops Anderson like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
