Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Inhanamoto (ranked 36 p4p, 90 weight class) and Jack Crusher (ranked 7 p4p, 13 weight class). Jack Crusher has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ryu Inhanamoto's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryu Inhanamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Jack Crusher ! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Inhanamoto looks to land a left hand but Crusher moved out of range nicely. Crusher let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Inhanamoto scores with a push kick. Inhanamoto throws a leg kick
and Crusher counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Inhanamoto! Inhanamoto is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Crusher wants to control but Inhanamoto is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crusher taking a breather here.
Crusher thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher landing strikes.
 It looks like Ryu Inhanamoto has been cut. Crusher trying to control the action but Inhanamoto is working from the bottom. Crusher working the ground and pound. Crusher tries to move to mount but Inhanamoto blocks the move with his legs. Crusher working the ground and pound.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Crusher throwing shots but missing, from side control. Inhanamoto dodges the ground and pound from Crusher . Inhanamoto's coaches at Bushido Martial Arts have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Crusher in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Crusher tries to move to mount but Inhanamoto blocks the move with his legs. Inhanamoto is not content to let Crusher control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crusher postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Inhanamoto is not content to let Crusher control the position. Crusher is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher is trying to ground and pound but Inhanamoto uses the momentary lack of control by Crusher to regain half guard. Crusher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Inhanamoto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Inhanamoto manages to escape and get back to his feet! Nice uppercut there from Inhanamoto. Inhanamoto misses with a series of wild punches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crusher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Inhanamoto.
Crusher drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Inhanamoto defends it well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jack Crusher will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ryu Inhanamoto's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Inhanamoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crusher now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Inhanamoto misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Crusher counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Crusher is trying to control the action in half guard but Inhanamoto is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Inhanamoto is defending against the submission attempts here by Crusher .

Well, if Crusher is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

 Jeez, Ryu Inhanamoto's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ryu Inhanamoto's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
