With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Loki Kvakkestad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boromir Khan! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Khan 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kvakkestad moves away from the strike by Khan. Khan is looking to clinch but Kvakkestad is avoiding it.
Khan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kvakkestad sees it coming and avoids it easily. Khan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nice body kick from Kvakkestad. Khan misses with a body shot.
Kvakkestad lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Khan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Khan throws a big shot that misses. Kvakkestad changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Kvakkestad changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kvakkestad works the jab nicely. Khan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Khan misses with a straight left. This has been an exciting period of action! Khan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kvakkestad swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Khan. It looks like Boromir Khan has been cut. Kvakkestad misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kvakkestad under the eye. Boromir Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters circling a little - Kvakkestad finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kvakkestad pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Khan looks to clinch and Kvakkestad counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kvakkestad stops Khan from getting back to his feet.
Kvakkestad is keen to just control but Khan is a slippery customer. Kvakkestad is figuring out what he wants to do next. Khan kicks off Kvakkestad and gets to his feet. Khan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kvakkestad. Khan walks into a straight right hand from Kvakkestad. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan throws a nice looking combination but Kvakkestad bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Khan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Khan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Khan is rocked! The fight stays on the outside here - Khan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Khan is still on wobbly legs! Can Kvakkestad finish him?

and Kvakkestad counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Khan! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Kvakkestad!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Voorheis gets tackled into the cage by Scappy Do. Scappy Do maintains the clinch. Voorheis manages to break the clinch.
Voorheis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Scappy Do as he avoids it easily. Voorheis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Scappy Do sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Voorheis darts in looking for a takedown but Scappy Do gets double underhooks and turns Voorheis into the cage. Scappy Do is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Voorheis. Just Fight Scappy Do has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derk Voorheis. Scappy Do tries to clinch but Voorheis moves out of range. Voorheis moves out of range of the body kick from Scappy Do.

Scappy Do is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Voorheis tries to free his leg and advance position but Scappy Do is retaining full guard. Voorheis landing some decent shots from guard. Voorheis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Scappy Do is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Voorheis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Voorheis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Scappy Do taking punishment in the form of punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scappy Do takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Scappy Do is looking to improve his position but Voorheis isn't that keen on the idea. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Scappy Do in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Scappy Do is in all sorts of trouble here.
Voorheis is landing with some decent strikes but Scappy Do is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. It looks like Just Fight Scappy Do has been cut. Schotel swivels though and keeps the full guard. Schotel keeping moving, preventing Aho from controlling successfully. Schotel throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Schotel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Aho trying to control from Schotel's half guard. Schotel has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Aho passes Schotel's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aho content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Aho is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schotel sees it coming and defends easily. Schotel felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Aho is looking for a kimura here.

Panda throws out a loose jab but Dodgers uses good head movement to avoid it. Panda checks a leg kick. A big right from Panda misses. Panda shoots in looking for a takedown. Dodgers tries to sprawl out of it but Panda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dodgers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dodgers feinted there with a counter leg kick. Duck Dodgers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dodgers throws a leg kick that is checked and Panda counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Panda. Dodgers controlling the position.

Panda being controlled against the cage. Dodgers lands a shoulder strike. Dodgers tries a body shot but Panda blocks it.
