The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castro changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Reeves lands the left hand. We've been hearing reports that Reeves has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Castro has taken the fight to the clinch.

Keanu Reeves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good exchange - Castro coming out on top. Castro throws a body shot but no joy. Reeves showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Castro.

Reeves takes a shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reeves shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Castro lands with a cross. Reeves is rocked! Castro drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Reeves right on the button. Reeves goes down! Castro follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Castro gets the win via TKO!

Mspomfad moves in looking to clinch but Vyr pushes him off. Vyr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mspomfad wants a takedown but no success here.

McDonnell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bravo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. McDonnell avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bravo. McDonnell tries to bench press Bravo off him but Bravo keeps the position. Bravo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. McDonnell is not content to let Bravo control the position. Bravo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Eddie Bravo dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Bravo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McDonnell to score with a decent uppercut. McDonnell lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. McDonnell lands with a nice body punch. McDonnell looks to throw the jab but Bravo is out of range. Bravo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McDonnell throws a looping overhand right but Bravo ducks down to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McDonnell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bravo has time to react. McDonnell throws a leg kick which misses Bravo's front leg but catches the back leg as Bravo tries to avoid it. McDonnell bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bravo's head backwards. Bravo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Ger McDonnell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo defending well as McDonnell loads up on a big left hand. Ger McDonnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McDonnell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bravo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bravo. Bravo wants to control from the top but McDonnell keeps moving. McDonnell controlling the position. Bravo is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McDonnell is trying to stick to Bravo's back but Bravo is turning into McDonnell. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in McDonnell's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bravo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McDonnell has his hands on Bravo's head, controlling the position. McDonnell is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Bravo trying to control the position but McDonnell is working away. Eddie Bravo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bravo working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McDonnell stops Bravo from passing to mount. Bravo tries for a kimura but McDonnell is defending well. Bravo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, McDonnell has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bravo but great work by McDonnell. Bravo is looking for a sweep. Bravo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bravo moves into full guard.
Bravo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McDonnell has picked Bravo up and slammed him! Bravo can't keep hold of the triangle and McDonnell manages to pass to side control! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ger McDonnell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! McDonnell scores with a hook to the body. Bravo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. McDonnell might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. McDonnell lands a nice shot to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kalske chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bol can pounce on him.
