Kaori lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Mfer head around and knocks him out cold! Kaori hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Kowalski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mfer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kowalski somewhat.

Kowalski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mfer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kowalski is in Mfer's guard.
Mfer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kowalski manages to get himself to full guard.


Mfer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mfer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kowalski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mfer, into his guard.


Mfer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kowalski defends it easily.

Mfer can't hide his disappointment, as Kowalski celebrates the victory.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Adlehyde feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Holton Jr sprawling to the canvas! Holton Jr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Adlehyde finish him?!
