Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Roger Andermatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 35 - 18 - 2, fighting out of London, Klahan Metharom! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andermatt connects with a single shot there. Andermatt throws a leg kick which misses Metharom's front leg but catches the back leg as Metharom tries to avoid it. Andermatt lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Andermatt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Metharom on the side of the head. Andermatt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Metharom throws out a loose jab but Andermatt uses good head movement to avoid it. Andermatt takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koivisto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Panic to the mat! Panic manages to get full guard. Koivisto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Koivisto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Panic's head. Panic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Koivisto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Panic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Panic has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Koivisto. Panic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Panic manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Panic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ultima Koivisto overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Koivisto wants to improve his position but Panic is controlling well.

He must have been working on that in the gym. Hoost lands a glancing blow to the side of Maluga's head. It looks like Kilo Maluga has been cut. Maluga lands with a nice body punch. Hoost throws a sloppy body shot
and Hoost takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That has opened up Clarence Hoost's cut even more. Maluga uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hoost.

This has been an exciting period of action! Maluga connects with a body shot that sends Hoost's belly button to the back. Hoost takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hoost lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Hoost throws a sloppy head kick and Maluga moves out of range easily. Hoost misses with a wild body shot. Hoost slips a jab and a cross from Maluga.
