The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cubbedge swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kopecki counters with a nice body kick.
Kopecki getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Billy Cubbedge has been cut.
Cubbedge takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Cubbedge is rocked!
Cubbedge throws a hook but Kopecki blocks it.
Cubbedge dives in and grabs Kopecki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kopecki pushes down on Cubbedge 's head and hops out.
Kopecki throws a counter high kick but Cubbedge was just alert enough to avoid it.
Cubbedge does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A little feinted left hand from Kopecki on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kopecki lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cubbedge 's sensitive parts.
Cubbedge takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kopecki has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bushido Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight.
