The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vercetti pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Vercetti shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sam eats them both and turns towards Vercetti to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Sambo Sam has been cut.
Sam darts in looking for a takedown but Vercetti gets double underhooks and turns Sam into the cage.
Vercetti swings wildly with an uppercut but Sam uses good head movement to avoid it.
