Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gary Andary! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 20 - 2, fighting out of New York, Robert Grandis! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andary slips a jab from Grandis. Nice shot by Grandis. Grandis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Andary was well out of range. Poor timing from Grandis. Andary takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Grandis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Andary looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Grandis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Andary manages to avoid it. Andary went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. A slow jab from Andary misses its intended target. Grandis misses with a wild body shot. Andary lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Grandis takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A telegraphed right hand from Grandis misses the target. A combination from Andary does no damage. Grandis misses with a hook
and Andary cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Grandis lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grandis walks into a left hand. Grandis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Andary counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grandis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Grandis misses with a body punch
enabling Andary to counter with a crisp jab. Grandis misses with a lunging right hand
and Andary counters with a stiff right hand. A jab from Grandis misses. We've been informed that Grandis has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Grandis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Andary takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A clash of legs there as Andary blocks the low kick. Andary looks to land a right hand but Grandis moved out of range. Good exchange - Andary coming out on top. Grandis is rocked! Grandis misses with a combination
and Andary rattles Grandis with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Grandis tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Andary dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Grandis stiff and motionless on the mat!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortythree slips a straight right by Camacho. Fortythree wants to clinch up but Camacho keeps it at a distance. Camacho throws a lazy uppercut
and Fortythree counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fortythree has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fortythree throws a looping overhand right but Camacho ducks down to avoid it. Camacho has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ludus Magnus in the buildup to the fight. Camacho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Camacho tries to move into range but Fortythree moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Fortythree lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murphy is looking to clinch but Sturmovik is avoiding it.
Murphy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sturmovik counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sturmovik throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Murphy only half commits to the counter leg kick. Sturmovik just misses with a punch to the body.
Murphy has a takedown stuffed. Sturmovik smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sturmovik moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Murphy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Sturmovik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sturmovik lands an overhand right. Murphy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Murphy looks to score with a jab to the body but Sturmovik is just out of range. Sturmovik does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Sturmovik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Murphy sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sturmovik avoids the head kick by Murphy.

Murphy fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kirov Sturmovik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paddy Murphy. Murphy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sturmovik's head. Sturmovik cracks Murphy with a big right hand and Murphy goes down! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sturmovik lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Murphy is rocked! Sturmovik loads up on a big left hand. Murphy felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Sturmovik looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Murphy can't hide his disappointment, as Sturmovik celebrates the victory.

Oren looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Oren scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Durnin doesn't seem bothered though. Durnin looks to score with a jab to the body but Oren is just out of range. Oren fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Durnin. Durnin avoids the head kick by Oren.

Oren is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Durnin like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Durnin from another fist facial!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dickons scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Dickons shows good takedown defense. Dickons swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Dickons moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Dickons closes the distance and lands a one-two. Dickons throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gracie throws a jab when Dickons was well out of range. Dickons displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab. Dickons scores with a one two! Gracie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. It looks like Bryan Gracie has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dickons. We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Dickons drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dickons trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dickons preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dickons can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dickons trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie controls Dickons momentarily but Dickons frees himself. Dickons wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position. Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dickons defends well. Dickons wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dickons gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dickons in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dickons is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dickons is looking to work some ground and pound but Gracie has wrist control. Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dickons. Dickons trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gracie has his foot on Dickons's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dickons works his way back into a safe position though. Dickons missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dickons looking to pass the guard. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Dickons from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dickons cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs. Gracie throws a jab when Dickons was well out of range. Gracie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Dickons keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dickons listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Dickons jabs Gracie to the body, keeping him at a distance. Dickons lands a nice looking body shot.
Dickons ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Dickons lands with an uppercut that bounces Gracie off the cage and back into range. Dickons swats away the attempt to clinch by Gracie. Bryan Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dickons works over Gracie's head and body with a nice combination. Gracie misses with a hook. Dickons ducked under it nicely. Gracie throws a big shot that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Dickons dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gracie misses with a looping left. Dickons slips a jab from Gracie. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dickons swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gracie throws out a loose jab but Dickons uses good head movement to avoid it. Dickons swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Dickons digs a good hook to Gracie's body.

and Dickons counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dickons lands a jab. Gracie walks into a jab. Dickons has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dickons! But no joy. Gracie rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dickons counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gracie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gracie tries to improve position but can't. Dickons tries for a kimura but Gracie is defending well. Gracie is trying to control Dickons's posture but Dickons avoids it.

Dickons wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working. Gracie avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dickons. Ruttu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Blikstein checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Blikstein feinted with a counter takedown. Ruttu throws out a loose jab but Blikstein uses good head movement to avoid it. Blikstein throws a sloppy head kick and Ruttu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Blikstein lands a right hook to the body.

A quick step to the side and Blikstein tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Ruttu scores with a decent looking hook. Blikstein fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ruttu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

It seemed like Ruttu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Blikstein throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ruttu was covering up waiting for the punch and Blikstein finishes the takedown easily into guard. Blikstein postures up.

Blikstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ruttu looking to sweep here. Blikstein throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ruttu works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Blikstein's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Paulo Blikstein dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ruttu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blikstein has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blikstein and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Ruttu connects with a body shot. Reino Ruttu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping leg kick lands for Ruttu.

Ruttu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Blikstein momentarily.
Reino Ruttu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ruttu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Blikstein takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ruttu throws a jab when Blikstein was well out of range. Ruttu cracks Blikstein with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ruttu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Blikstein sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruttu throws a hook to the side of Blikstein's head but Blikstein sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ruttu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Blikstein ducks right into an uppercut from Ruttu. Ruttu connects with a looping right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blikstein shoots in for a takedown but Ruttu shows good takedown defense. Ruttu throws out a counter right but Blikstein avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Blikstein. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ruttu turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Ruttu takes a swing at Blikstein's ribcage but misses. Ruttu throws a looping overhand right but Blikstein ducks down to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! Reino Ruttu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ruttu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jimenez is looking to slow Cheese down with leg kicks. Cheese has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Cheese missing with a left hand there. Jimenez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jimenez was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jimenez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jimenez scores with a push kick. Cheese perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Diogo Jimenez will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Cheese slips a straight right by Jimenez. Cheese lands a nice looking body kick. Cheese is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 45 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Haggar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nuufo Seanoa! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haggar lands a nice shot to the body.
Haggar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seanoa was well out of range. Poor timing from Haggar. The fighters circle momentarily. Haggar darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Haggar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Seanoa. Seanoa now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Seanoa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Haggar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Haggar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Seanoa drives through with a takedown into guard. Seanoa wants to control from the top but Haggar keeps moving. Seanoa forces his way into half guard. Seanoa missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Seanoa looks to land a strike but Haggar avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Haggar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Seanoa tries to free his leg and advance position but Haggar is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haggar wants to control from the top but Seanoa keeps moving. Seanoa wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haggar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Seanoa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haggar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Haggar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Seanoa's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seanoa looking to control.

Haggar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Seanoa has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Haggar should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Seanoa has tightened it up now! Haggar should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
