The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spud misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Spud on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Spud throws a right and a left that Robertson avoids nicely. Spud lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robertson circles away quickly and effectively. Robertson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Spud throws a right and a left that both miss. Robertson blocks a jab. Spud misses with a jab, cross combination.
Spud misses with an uppercut. Robertson saw that one coming. Nice uppercut there from Robertson. It looks like Slaw Spud has been cut. Robertson with a nice calf kick. Robertson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Robertson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Spud throws out the jab. Robertson scores with a jab to the jaw. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dennison thows a left - swing and a miss! Baklava connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Baklava throws a good cross that connects.
Baklava is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dennison takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dennison fails to land with a series of punches.
Dennison throws a nice looking combination but Baklava bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A little jabbing left from Baklava on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Baklava uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dennison.
A nice side step and Baklava releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Dennison takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Dennison works over Baklava's head and body with a nice combination. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dennison walks into a straight right hand from Baklava. Burt Baklava seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baklava wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Dennison swinging wildly here.

Baklava swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Dennison's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Germic tries to clinch but Balopoulos moves out of range. Balopoulos showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Germic.

and Germic counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Balopoulos thinking. A punch lands to the side of Balopoulos 's head but he takes it in his stride. Balopoulos throws a body punch but Germic moves out of range. Balopoulos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Balopoulos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Germic manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We've been hearing that Balopoulos has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Balopoulos is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Balopoulos connects with a couple of short punches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Balopoulos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Germic's guard. Germic is trying to get back to full guard.

Halpert tries to close the distance and clinch but Nye swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Halpert slips a jab from Nye. Nye clinches up with Halpert and pushes him back against the cage. Nye lands an elbow that stopped Halpert in his tracks for a moment. Nye works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
