The fight stays on the outside here - Tua Cara looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ndombele throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Tucker. Burnett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tucker was well out of range. Poor timing from Burnett. Tucker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nice uppercut there from Tucker. Burnett connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tucker, as that shot connected.
Burnett lands with a good body shot. A punch lands to the side of Burnett 's head but he takes it in his stride. Tucker drives through and clinches with Burnett against the cage.

John throws the kick towards the body but Sitsongrit avoids it. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Sitsongrit - that will leave a mark!

John gets in close and tags Sitsongrit with a short punch that almost sends Sitsongrit to the mat! Oh Sitsongrit is in big trouble! He turns his back on John, trying to create some distance but John rushes him, striking wildly and Sitsongrit goes down! The referee tackles John into the cage to end the fight! John is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris John! Chris John retains his lightweight title! Chris John decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ritori swats away the attempt to clinch by River. A jab from River misses. Kollaa River seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. River throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A little feinted left hand from Ritori on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Good standup being displayed there by River as he connects with a hook. Ritori lands with an uppercut that bounces River off the cage and back into range. It looks like Kollaa River has been cut. and Ritori rattles River with a well-timed uppercut counter. - River tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ritori dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving River stiff and motionless on the mat!

A very excited looking Wusan Ritori made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
