The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Arbeloa to score an easy takedown into full guard. Arbeloa scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Arbeloa landing with the ground and pound. Arbeloa wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Anderson is trying to keep Arbeloa in close.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Arbeloa shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Arbeloa feints and as Anderson raises his hands in defense, Arbeloa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Arbeloa wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Arbeloa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Anderson is keeping the position for now. Arbeloa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arbeloa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Anderson keeping moving, preventing Arbeloa from controlling successfully. Arbeloa throws a strike but Anderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Anderson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arbeloa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anderson has managed to get both his arms back between Arbeloa's legs - danger averted. Arbeloa tries to strike from the bottom.
Anderson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arbeloa wants to sweep here but Anderson controlling him for the moment. Arbeloa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Arbeloa connects with a nice short shot to Anderson's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson is looking to control Arbeloa's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson avoid being mounted? Anderson is not content to let Arbeloa control the position. Anderson taking some punishment here, with Arbeloa in his half guard. Arbeloa is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Arbeloa. Oh but Anderson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Arbeloa goes limp - he's gone! Anderson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strickland scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. It looks like Ripp Colton has been cut. Colton moves into the clinch. Strickland breaks the clinch.
Colton throws a hook but Strickland avoids it easily. Strickland ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Colton misses with a wild body shot. Colton throws the left hand but Strickland avoids the punch easily. Strickland unleashes a big counter combination but Colton bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Strickland throws a nice looking combination but Colton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Colton drops his hands momentarily and Strickland takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Sloppy strikes from Strickland. Those never looked like landing. Colton is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Dubson Strickland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Colton takes a shot right to the bread basket. Strickland looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A little feinted left hand from Colton on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oooooh!!! Strickland has knocked Colton down with a huge combo! Strickland steps away and waves a wobbly Colton back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Colton throws a body punch but Strickland moves out of range. A big right from Colton misses. Strickland swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Colton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Strickland lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Oh Colton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ripp Colton's cut is getting worse. Strickland looks winded! Strickland fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Colton to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Colton looks to clinch but Strickland throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Colton taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bubba Dukes! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dukes listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Jones lands with a hook. Dukes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Dukes shows good takedown defense. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dukes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Jones throws a lazy right hand but Dukes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dukes misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jones throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Dukes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands. Dukes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dukes. Jones taking some punishment here, with Dukes in his half guard. It looks like Justin Jones has been cut. Dukes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jones is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dukes is looking to stall here but Jones recovers full guard. Dukes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dukes scoring with punches to the head and body. Dukes looking to pass the guard. Dukes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jones wants to sweep here but Dukes controlling him for the moment. Dukes landing some decent shots from guard. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Dukes is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dukes trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jones holds on and takes a little breather. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Dukes is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Jones walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dukes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jones takes one to the side of the head.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dukes sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Dukes as Jones shoots in. Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Dukes sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dukes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Dukes stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dukes drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dukes cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dukes sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jones is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Jones throws a strike but Dukes avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Dukes is pulling down on Jones's head to control his posture. Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dukes is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dukes has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones keeping moving, preventing Dukes from controlling successfully. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jones wants to hit a sweep here but Dukes passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jones there! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dukes with shots to the head and body - Jones looks very uncomfortable down there. Justin Jones's cut is getting worse. Dukes with a couple of short strikes. Justin Jones's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Dukes postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jones in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jones to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba Dukes! An intense looking Bubba Dukes took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Time to make a run and see how good I am.'. Justin Jones was interviewed post fight and said 'All respect to my opponent, I just wasn't my best tonight. Gonna have to go back to the drawing board and see whats next.'.

Kato tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wilson just stands there and leans against the cage. Kato should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Wilson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kato is trying to keep an underhook but Wilson manages to get the takedown into half guard. Wilson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wilson scoring with strikes to the body and head. Wilson passes to side control. Wilson cracks Kato with a big right hand but Kato just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kato is rocked! It looks like Mawunyo Kato has been cut. Wilson lands a huge shot from side control! Kato is out cold! This one is all over!

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zapina lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Hall - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Zapina!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gillechriosd McCoy! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucky Lemon! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCoy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lemon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McCoy scores with a sloppy right hand. Lemon should have avoided that one. Lemon tries to clinch up and Lemon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Lemon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McCoy paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lemon looks to clinch and McCoy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lemon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
McCoy looks to throw the jab but Lemon is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lemon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McCoy. The fight stays on the outside here - Lemon looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McCoy looks to land a right hand but Lemon moved out of range. McCoy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Lemon darts in trying to clinch and McCoy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lemon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lemon wants it to stay on the feet. McCoy is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Not this time though. McCoy content to control rather than advance. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lemon is trying to maintain the position but McCoy is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McCoy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lemon was covering up waiting for the punch and McCoy finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lemon keeping full guard, as McCoy tries to pass. McCoy stays in close to Lemon's body and controls the position. Lemon looking for a sweep. Not yet Lemon, not yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lemon is looking for a triangle but McCoy pushes his legs off easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Gillechriosd McCoy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McCoy, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
