The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith looks low and kicks high, catching Mercenary right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it! It looks like Medieval Mercenary has been cut. Smith stuns Mercenary with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nice body kick there by Smith. Mercenary takes one to the side of the head.
Mercenary is rocked! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target. Mercenary is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him? Smith scores with a hook to the body. Mercenary takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A punch combination from Mercenary misses. Mercenary seems to have recovered his senses. Jab from Smith. Smith misses with a hook. Smith scores with a big combo that sends Mercenary crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Mercenary flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Smith jumps onto the cage and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sitsongrit slips under a jab. Sitsongrit connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sitsongrit fakes the leg kick and cracks Diaz in the body. Sitsongrit jabs Diaz right on the nose. Diaz blinks but takes it well. A solid leg kick lands there for Sitsongrit.
Diaz scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Diaz checks a low kick from Sitsongrit. Sitsongrit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Diaz throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Diaz tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sitsongrit stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Diaz moves out of range of the leg kick from Sitsongrit. Diaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sitsongrit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sitsongrit lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sitsongrit. Diaz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sitsongrit. Sitsongrit lands a slapping body shot.

and Sitsongrit counters with a stiff right hand. Sitsongrit lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Diaz misses with a right hand enabling Sitsongrit to counter with a crisp jab. Diaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sitsongrit avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diaz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Diaz moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Petchongboo Sitsongrit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Sitsongrit scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sitsongrit swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sitsongrit misses with a head kick.
Sitsongrit slips a straight right by Diaz. Diaz missing with a left hand there. Sitsongrit was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sitsongrit was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Sitsongrit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Diaz is rocked! Diaz tries to clinch and Sitsongrit counters with a big uppercut that drops Diaz face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Black defending well as Bukaew loads up on a big left hand. Black has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Black tries to bum rush Bukaew with a series of wild strikes but Bukaew uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bukaew lands the left hand. It looks like Dante Black has been cut. Bukaew pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bukaew lands with a good body shot. Black connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bukaew. Bukaew circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Black moves in looking to clinch but Bukaew pushes him off. Black swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Black uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bukaew. Nice uppercut lands for Black. That snapped Bukaew's head back.

Back to the action. Bukaew lands with a straight right. Black didn't see that one coming. Bukaew is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Black can do to turn this around?
