 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Tua Cara. Those never looked like landing. Turcotte swings away with a body shot that misses
and Tua Cara counters with a straight right hand. Tua Cara looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Turcotte getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Turcotte circles away from the clinch attempt.

It looks like Quebro Tua Cara has been cut. Turcotte told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

And that's the end of the fight! Jacques Turcotte comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Turcotte has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Magomedov is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Mesquita lands some shots froms side control. Magomedov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mesquita working away. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Abner has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Abner and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Shigaraki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Abner sprawls well. Abner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shigaraki gets slowly back to his feet.
