 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vrana lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gunner. Gunner pushes off an throws an elbow but Vrana leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Vrana makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Vrana obliges. Gunner misses with a punch to the body.

More strikes from Vrana and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Gunner lies dazed against the cage as Vrana celebrates with his cornermen!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chandler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mac Airt. Chandler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mac Airt.
Chandler scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Mac Airt wants to get back to full guard. Chandler misses with a head shot. Mac Airt uses the momentum to regain guard. Mac Airt has momentary wrist control but Chandler slips an elbow through the middle. Chandler throws a big elbow that misses. Mac Airt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chandler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chandler throws a strike but Mac Airt rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Mac Airt wants to control from the top but Chandler keeps moving. Chandler wants to sweep here but Mac Airt controlling him for the moment. Mac Airt trying to control but Chandler is working from the bottom. Chandler doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Chandler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chandler is on top in guard.

Mac Airt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chandler is aware though and is defending well. Chandler looking to sit in guard and control but Mac Airt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Chandler looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mac Airt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chandler swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mac Airt is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chandler is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chandler has escaped and now he's on top!
 Mac Airt seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Chandler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mac Airt avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Chandler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Chandler with a nice head shot there.
Mac Airt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chandler is aware though and is defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chandler with a nice head shot there. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Chandler working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Chandler works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mac Airt trying to control here.

Mac Airt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chandler moves away. Mac Airt throws an overhand right that lands on Chandler's shoulder, as Chandler tries to avoid the shot. Chandler lands a nice hook to Mac Airt's body. Mac Airt takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Chandler throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mac Airt was covering up waiting for the punch and Chandler finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mac Airt controls Chandler momentarily but Chandler frees himself. Chandler missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chandler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Chandler is looking to advance position but Mac Airt has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Mac Airt looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Chandler is looking for a sweep. Mac Airt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mac Airt prevents Chandler from improving his position. Mac Airt is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Chandler is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Mac Airt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chandler is just riding it out for now. Mac Airt eventually gives up the hold. Joey Chandler has got the better of the ground game so far. Mac Airt is trying to control the action in half guard but Chandler is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mac Airt trying to mount his opponent but Chandler defends it. Chandler has his hands clasped together around Mac Airt's back. He's all about the action.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Chandler scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chandler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mac Airt sprawls well initially but Chandler persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Chandler thows a huge punch but Mac Airt dodges it nicely.
Mac Airt actively working from the bottom here. Chandler wants to take a breather but Mac Airt is having none of it. Mac Airt wants to control the action here but instead Chandler manages to pass to full mount! Chandler working the ground and pound effectively.
Chandler lands a heavy elbow. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chandler is landing with some decent strikes but Mac Airt is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Mac Airt is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Joey Chandler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Chandler feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mac Airts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Joey Chandler is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Chandler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mac Airt manages to avoid it. Mac Airt moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Jab from Chandler. Mac Airt throws the left hand but Chandler avoids the punch easily. Mac Airt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Chandler throws a good cross that connects.
Chandler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mac Airt on his heels. He'll look to pass Mac Airt's guard now, I'm sure. Chandler slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mac Airt keeping moving, preventing Chandler from controlling successfully.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mac Airt lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Chandler moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Mac Airt was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Chandler comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mac Airt throws a lazy right hand but Chandler sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Chandler digs a good hook to Mac Airt's body.
Joey Chandler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mac Airt throws out a loose jab but Chandler uses good head movement to avoid it. Chandler changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Chandler shoots for a takedown but Mac Airt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mac Airt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Chandler staying out of range there. Chandler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mac Airt.
Chandler has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chandler bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mac Airt's head backwards. Nice uppercut lands for Chandler. That snapped Mac Airt's head back.

Chandler drives through with a takedown into guard. Mac Airt wants to stand up but Chandler is controlling him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mac Airt looking to control.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac Airt looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mac Airt keeping moving, preventing Chandler from controlling successfully. Mac Airt doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Mac Airt has his foot on Chandler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chandler works his way back into a safe position though. Chandler controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Mac Airt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chandler is one step ahead there.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Chandler scores with the left hand. Mac Airt knows he should have avoided that one.
And that's the end of the fight! Joey Chandler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chandler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boma tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Metharom looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Metharom walks into a stiff left hand from Boma. Boma chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Boma connects with a body shot that sends Metharom's belly button to the back. Boma bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Boma seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Metharom lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Boma scores with a jab to the body. A head kick misses from Boma. A head kick misses from Metharom. Boma waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Metharom. Metharom is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Metharom darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boma's jab looks to have found its range, popping Metharom under the eye. Metharom thuds his right hand into Boma's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Boma on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Metharom with a nice calf kick. Metharom connects with an inside leg kick. Metharom misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Boma. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Boma. Boma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boma misses the body punch and Metharom counters with a nice uppercut.
Boma is rocked! Metharom looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Oh Boma is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Boma fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Metharom manages to avoid it. Boma is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Metharom checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Metharom drops Boma with a big left hand! Boma is injured, injured bad! Metharom jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Hugo Mesquita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cheese scores with a kick to the body.

A lazy body kick from Cheese and Mesquita counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A combination from Cheese does no damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cheese goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Cheese stuffs the takedown attempt from Mesquita. Mesquita gets slowly back to his feet. Parmesan Cheese is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Horrible takedown attempt by Mesquita or perhaps it was just good defense by Cheese, which made it look bad. Parmesan Cheese has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugo Mesquita. Mesquita moves out of range of the leg kick from Cheese. Mesquita looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. The crowd cheers as Mesquita lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cheese doesn't seem phased though. Cheese ducks under a wild hook from Mesquita. A little feinted left hand from Cheese on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Hugo Mesquita is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cheese takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. This has been an exciting period of action! Cheese throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Cheese counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mesquita thinking.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bollomard working away diligently from side control.
