Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Tarver (ranked 118 p4p, 123 weight class) and Balin Trollslayer (ranked 5 p4p, 11 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Balin Trollslayer!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarver throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trollslayer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tarver throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Trollslayer feints the counter takedown.
Tarver throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Trollslayer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Tarver lands a nice shot that snaps Trollslayer's head back.

Antonio Tarver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tarver looks to land a right hand but Trollslayer moved out of range.
And Trollslayer tries to counter it with a takedown but Tarver pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Trollslayer working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

You can see the frustration on Tarver's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
