Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Rozhkov (ranked 166 p4p, 172 weight class) and Ryu Inhanamoto (ranked 23 p4p, 24 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rozhkov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Inhanamoto but Inhanamoto pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Inhanamoto is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Rozhkov with a body shot.

and Inhanamoto counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rozhkov shoots for a double leg takedown but Inhanamoto sprawls well. He's pushed Rozhkov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Rozhkov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Inhanamoto counters with a stiff right hand.
Inhanamoto with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rozhkov to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Alexander Rozhkov has been cut.
