Eric Ries struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eric Ries was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ruud Altena (ranked 1022 p4p, 1568 weight class) and Raimundo Forza (ranked 147 p4p, 217 weight class). Altena kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Grontapu by Double Rock. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
