Kururugi moves out of range as Johnson strikes.
Kururugi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Johnson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kururugis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Johnson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kururugi doesn't seem bothered though.
Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kururugi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet.

Jeez, Sheikh Mahmut's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sheikh Mahmut's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Roos wants to clinch up but Kersikov keeps it at a distance.

and Roos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A slapping leg kick lands for Roos.
Roos swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kersikov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kersikov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
