Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christophe Dupree (ranked 2379 p4p, 1800 weight class) and Drew Barnes (ranked 262 p4p, 196 weight class). Dupree kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eddie Vedder - Society. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legions misses with a head kick.
Matsuda feinted with a counter takedown.
Matsuda keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Legions.
Legions misses with a wild combination.
Matsuda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Matsuda lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Legions at a distance.
Legions fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Matsuda throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Legions tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Matsuda is in Legions's guard.

Matsuda stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Legions swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Matsuda trying to control the position from guard on top but Legions is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Legions throws a hook to the side of Matsuda's head but Matsuda sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Matsuda connects with a body shot.

Matsuda lands an elbow.

Matsuda is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Legions has escaped the position, nice work there.
Legions stops Matsuda from passing to mount.
Legions wants to control but Matsuda postures up.
