The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Bik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Diamond (ranked 2972 p4p, 1149 weight class) and Ruud Altena (ranked 359 p4p, 169 weight class). Altena has chosen Grontapu by Double Rock as his entrance music. James Diamond had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cole is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Sampson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sampson is out cold! Cole holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Our winner, White Cole, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Douglas Sampson was interviewed post fight and said 'Nothing goes over my head… my reflexes are too fast, but my famously huge turd pre fight left me feeling dizzy and I was seeing double vision the whole fight'.
