Hall kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pinball Wizard. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ralph Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 8 - 2, fighting out of London, Harry Winks! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall lands a jab. Some wild striking there from Hall.
Winks feints a counter leg kick. Hall ducks under a wild hook from Winks. Hall throws a good cross that connects.
A swing and a miss from Winks. Hall drops down looking for a counter takedown but Winks sprawls and moves away. Winks doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hall counters with a shoot takedown. Winks fights it but they end up in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hall tries to free his leg and advance position but Winks is retaining full guard.

Winks wants to sweep but no luck. Winks keeping full guard, as Hall tries to pass. Hall trying to control but Winks is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winks tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hall trying to control but Winks is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Winks lands with a nice body kick. Hall shoots for a takedown but Winks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hall takes one to the chin there. Winks tries a head kick but it misses.
Hall ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Winks walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hall checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Nice uppercut lands for Hall. That snapped Winks's head back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Winks. Winks fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hall checks it well. Hall drops down looking for a counter takedown but Winks sprawls and moves away. Winks throws a sloppy head kick and Hall moves out of range easily. Hall avoids the body shot from Winks.
Hall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Winks changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Hall shoots in for a takedown but Winks shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A little jabbing left from Winks on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Hall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Winks.
Winks takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winks throws a jab but it's blocked by Hall. Winks throws a looping overhand right but Hall ducks down to avoid it. Hall gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Ralph Hall has been cut. Winks throws a jab but it's blocked by Hall. Hall dives in and scores a takedown into Winks's guard. Winks keeping full guard, as Hall tries to pass. This has been an exciting period of action! Hall being controlled here momentarily. Winks looking for a sweep. Not yet Winks, not yet. And that is the end of the round. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Winks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ralph Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Winks preventing the sweep.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jackson misses with a left hand and Hunt counters with a nice leg kick. A telegraphed right hand from Jackson misses the target. Jackson stalks Hunt and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hunt's face. Hunt staggers backwards, shaken. It looks like Paul Hunt has been cut. Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Hunt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hunt fires out a quick counter leg kick but Jackson just manages to avoid it. Jackson throws a head kick but Hunt moves out of range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hunt darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jackson throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunt. Hunt misses with an attempted mid kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okoroji throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Grant bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Okoroji's head backwards. Okoroji takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Grant lands a leg kick that knocks Okoroji off balance momentarily. Grant ducks under a wild hook from Okoroji. Grant really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A looping hook to the body misses from Grant. Okoroji does a little dance to reset his feet. Grant lands a leg kick that knocks Okoroji off balance momentarily. Horrible takedown attempt by Okoroji or perhaps it was just good defense by Grant, which made it look bad. Grant swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Grant lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Okoroji's coach down at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Okoroji's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A jab from Grant finds it's way through Okoroji's defenses. Grant connects with a solid leg kick. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Temidare throws an off balance right hand
letting Cole counter with a right hand. Temidare wants to clinch. Cole blocks a jab. Temidare is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cole. Temidare closes the distance and pushes Cole back into the cage. Cole is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Temidare to keep the fight standing. Cole gets control of Temidare's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cole will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cole has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Temidare can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Temidare really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cole. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Temidare tries to stand but Cole is controlling from the bottom.

Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Asteroid pushing out the jab but it's not landing. An inside leg kick from Blaydes misses. Asteroid tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Blaydes manages to circle out of the way. Blaydes does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. An attempted straight right counter from Asteroid misses the target. Blaydes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Asteroid. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Asteroid lands a lovely overhand right. Asteroid throws a head kick that misses. Asteroid tried to score with a low kick but Blaydes checks it. Blaydes tries a head kick but it misses.
Blaydes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The strikes coming from Blaydes are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haw Thorn (ranked 551 p4p, 472 weight class) and Ghengis Khan (ranked 34 p4p, 29 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thorn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haw Thorn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Ghengis Khan! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Khan throws a hook but Thorn blocks it. A little feinted left hand from Thorn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Thorn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Khan. Thorn lands with a thumping leg kick.
Thorn scores with a jab. Khan acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Thorn looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Khan throws the left hand but Thorn avoids the punch easily. A quick step to the side and Thorn tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Ghengis Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thorn on the wrong end of a nice hook. Thorn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Khan.
Thorn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Khan. Thorn half committed to a counter leg kick. Thorn throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Khan's head. It looks like Ghengis Khan has been cut. Khan misses with a looping right. Thorn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Khan manages to avoid it. Thorn lands a nice hook to Khan's body. Khan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A jab from Khan misses. It looked like Thorn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Khan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jab from Thorn. The fight stays on the outside here - Khan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Thorn jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Khan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Thorn throws a wild body kick that Khan sees coming a mile off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thorn scores with a spinning back kick! Thorn lands a really nice looking cross but Khan seems unphased.
Thorn misses with a wild body shot. Khan loads up on a big right hand but Thorn slips the punch. Thorn is looking for a counter combo. Khan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Thorn ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fighters circle momentarily. Thorn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Khan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Khan throws a hook to the side of Thorn's head but Thorn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Khan misses with a hook
and Khan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Thorn takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action! Khan misses with a hook. Khan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Thorn drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Thorn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Khan. Thorn is looking to wear down Khan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Khan tries to clinch up enabling Thorn to counter with a crisp jab. That has opened up Ghengis Khan's cut even more. Khan misses with an uppercut
and Thorn counters with a body kick. Khan looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thorn lands with a kick to the ribs.
Khan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Thorn scores with a jab. Thorn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Khan. The cut above Ghengis Khan's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Thorn scores with a shot to the body.
Khan misses with a looping left. Thorn is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Thorn shuts the power down on Khan. Lights out, game over! Thorn is your winner.
